Mayor Ross Franco Filareto participated in the civil and religious ceremonies for the hundredth birthday of Mrs. Rosa Anna Pisano and tapes.
Yesterday afternoon, the mayor has brought the best wishes and greetings from the City to Mrs. Rosa Pisano (widow Celestino) domiciled with his daughter at the airport city. To welcome the Mayor and the many guests we thought the two sons of Mrs. Anthony and Teresa, numerous grandchildren, Ross, Pasquale, Gennaro, Francesco and Marcello Federico and the priest Don Gaetano who officiated a mass. Mrs. Rose Pisano is Born in Buenos Aires in 1910, then moved at age 4 to Longobucco Caloveto a few years later and finally in 1968 in Rossano. He worked as a weaver with his loom craft built in the late nineteenth century and has been responsible for the maintenance and progress from their families. This morning, however, Filareto brought greetings and compliments to Mrs. Anna tapes during the Mass that was held in the church of S. Lido Angelo. Mrs. tapes, mother of 12 children and grandmother of 18 grandchildren, is a native of Salerno, but lives in the City, with her daughter Antoinette for many years. The Mayor, in both cases he made a wish for peace and joy and to celebrate their families and led the salute Community Rossanese, because it is exceptionally important events that enhance the value of older people, the true treasures of memory and knowledge, from which evidence of life young people need to draw sap and example for the future.
